What we don't want is someone nasty coming along and using our stories as a means of making himself feel better. What do I mean by this? On one of my new chapters of Beastly Intentions, a commenter felt it necessary to degrade the people who left comments on my work, he didn't read the story. So, his vote sent my ratings down.
Now I'm not really all that upset on the ratings part, it's a good story and it will keep a decent score, I have no doubt about that. I'm upset that this commenter, after I sent him a very nice email asking him why he did it, felt the need to come back onto my story page and make fun of me. Childish? Yes. Immature? Yes. A boy feeling the need to feast on his sour grapes? Yes. But completely without merit.
I don't send out nasty emails in response to any comments left. If someone doesn't like my story, well that's their perogative and I have to respect that. If someone downgrades me as a human and as an author, than I have the right to get pissed.
As far as I am concerned, Mr. Anonyman, I couldn't care less on what you think of my work. I don't care if you feel the need to troll me from now on. I don't know you, nor do I care to. But please, if you feel the need to cut at my fans, do it somewhere else and not on my storyboards because I will be deleting your comments from now on.
Now on the home front...Still have teenagers crashing at my house, which makes for lots of noise and very little work done for me. They haven't been too bad, so I guess I'm lucky. No wild parties or orgies late into the night..(dammit all, grumble grumble). That's about all. End of Rant.

Thank you for the mention on your blog. But do go on and tell the real story about how your loyal fans started this whole mess. Why no mention of the troll bashing, what did the anonymous comment made have to do with his penis size. Just tell the truth! Anonyman

Do not listen to the churlish words of one, small, insignificant, trifling fool. That person thrives on the harm that it can cause, so don't give the thing the satisfaction. Your work is greatly loved.

Ah, the famous troll basher makes her appearance to bash yet again. Oh so negative, DK must be very proud of you. As for thriving on harm, isn't that a wee bit hypocritical after the remarks you made. Why not take a whack or two at the other fans that don't appear to have total use of the language? Jenny J for one, or the fan from Iceland. Lets not forget the fan that professes to own the feedback portal, remember this Gem from an anonymous fan? "But this is a forum to provide genuine feedback, or pure emotional responses. So, just get out of our space. Post someplace else. Try a forum where people might actually care about your opinions (because they might actually be relevant)."
